Quality Linking and Reach-ability

The links you build should have reach-ability because Bill Slawski uncovered and decrypted yet another Google patent on reachability scores. The patent is named Determining reachability and was granted just a few days ago.

If you want to increase your search ranking you have to get the quality link building and before doing that you have to always check the reachability of the particular website because Search rankings might be promoted (boosted) or demoted in search results for a query based upon that reachability score calculated based upon a number of different factors.

Now you have to consider 3 things while you are generating links i.e.
1. Quality Link Building.
2. Contextual links.
3. Site’s Reachability.

So clearly based on this patent document, Google cares about the quality of sites you link to.  Google is able to measure those site’s reachability and your site’s reachability.

Smart ways to get Inbound Links

1. Forum Posting:
For best results the links should be contextual: that is, they should be a natural part of the text. Write good & substantial useful posts with a few contextual links to high-ranking websites. Make sure that the anchor text of each link is totally relevant to the target page; never use “click here” as the anchor text!

2. Syndicate content (RSS):
Another great way to obtain back-links is to write articles and syndicate them on best articles site. Make sure the article contains a link to your website. These websites tend to rank quite highly and they are an excellent source of back-links. You have to make sure that the article you write is the best and it is original.

3. Let as many people as possible know about your articles:
After posting these unique articles and of course after the approval make sure that you are going share those article and do the social bookmarking for each and approved article.

4. Network and make friends:
Back links play a major role in the search engines specifically Google and MSN. Google have lots of faith in good quality links. A link on a content related page is going to be worth a whole lot more than a link on a links page.

5. Online press releases:
Press Releases is one of the important factor that need to be focused all time. You should able to post at least 2-3 press release per month and get it approved. After the approval you need to share the Press Release with the help of social media which will eventually give you the best ranking.

6. Social bookmarking websites
Social Bookmarking is one of the best features in getting Back links. If you write an article, submitting it to Digg or Delicious can get you a lot of traffic. If other readers like it, the article will make it to the front page and you will get many page-views. If enough people like your article, you are bound to get some back-links.
